Department: Board of Directors

As a Community Action Agency we are mandated to have a “tripartite” board, which means our board has to equally represent in thirds community members with lived experience, elected officials or their delegates, and private members. This idea is rooted in a concept called “maximal feasible participation,” and we are proud to have more than one third of our members who have lived experience. In addition, we require at least one member who has expertise in legal and early childhood education.
