About the Project Our Portraits of Connection initiative provides a small but meaningful moment of joy and an enduring memento for families who might otherwise go without. Families will receive a professionally captured portrait of their loved ones during a free, outdoor, two-day community event. This project is an investment in human dignity, family pride, and community well-being.

Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County’s (CAP Sonoma’s) Board of Directors and staff are thrilled to reintroduce itself to the community as Sonoma Community Action Network, or Sonoma CAN. Over the past year, the agency has undergone exciting and transformative changes to help staff lead whole family programs with a more integrated, values-based, and data-driven approach.
