It will focus on the power of working with a strength-based approach, meeting the needs of young people, and putting our resilience in action in youth programs. This workshop will present a positive behavioral approach to working with students with challenging behavior. Participants will identify challenging behaviors, learn skills to analyze the environment, conduct useful student and program observation and proactive principle, build up tool box of interventions, and understand behavioral manifestation of some common disabilities and learn effective interventions to address the behaviors.
